• The series “HARMONIES” (vintage photographs of brass bands printed on large format vinyl backings) were installed from June 29th to July 8th at the Leclerc supermarket in Amboise (France) for the duration of musical festival “Les Courants”. They were also present in Luzillé (France) for the “Inter-County Gathering of Brass Bands”. These were good opportunities to bring art to the street.

“Les Courants” festival is the occasion for a new audience to discover diverse forms of music related photography. JMB took avantage of the invitation to participate and introduce the first element of his series “Musicography”, a look at the photographic print as object. This production consists of 20 images of orchestras and musical instruments, applied to the outer and inner surfaces of 7 cylinders hanging from a mobile support.

PROJECTS
• JMB will participate in the “Contemplation” Festival (Tauxigny, France) on August 11th with the series MUSIC IN MOTION and CHÂTEAUX DE PAILLE.
• The FRATERNITÉ series will be exhibited in Indre et Loire in September during the "Journées du Patrimoine".
• In late September JMB will be in New York for a series of gatherings with university students and teachers.
For that reason, he, unfortunately, had to decline the invitation from the Vendôme photo-club (Loir et Cher, France) to exhibit. He has recommended Thierry Cardon to replace him at the Saint Jacques chapel.
• At the end of October JMB will be the guest of honor of the Parçay-Meslay RIAGE association (Indre et Loire, France).
• In 2008, a large exhibit regrouping several music related series is scheduled at the La Riche media-center (Indre et Loire).
